Lovibond’s angle

Noun 1. It refers to the angle between the base of the nail and the nail itself. In healthy individuals, this angle equals to or is less than 165°. ( 2. Sagittal-plane angle subtended between dorsal aspect of proximal nail plate and dorsal skin of terminal phalanx; normally ∼160°, but >180° in digital clubbing.
