Finger Abduction

In this video, the motion of spreading apart the fingers is abduction. Abduction is occurring at the metacarpophalangeal joints. Metacarpophalangeal abduction is demonstrated from a position of the fingers being close together to a position of full abduction as seen from a front or anterior view.
