Finger Extension

In this video, the motion of finger extension is occurring at the metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints. This motion is controlled by eccentric muscle contraction. Eccentric metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joint extension is demonstrated from a fully flexed hand position as seen from a side or lateral view.
